Why Youth Council: EVkids has been a part of my life since I began going to school at Mother Caroline Academy in 4th grade. With the help of my tutors, I became better at keeping track of my work, understanding the material, and becoming a stronger writer. I was given opportunities that I benefited from and I want more kids to have that. Opportunities aren't typically given to young people of color and I believe that EVKids brings great opportunities to a diverse amount of people.
